Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada October 9, 2007 - Titan Uranium Inc. (“Titan”) (TSX-V: TUE, TUE.WT.A) is pleased to provide an update on its exploration activities in the Thelon Basin, Nunavut. Titan’s properties, which Mega Uranium Ltd. (TSX: MGA) is presently earning a 51% interest in, are located approximately 75 km west of AREVA’s 131 million lb. U3O8 unconformity type Kiggavik deposit (Nunavut Geoscience Overview, 2006). The 2007 summer program included completion of an airborne magnetic-radiometric survey, claim staking, prospecting, radon surveys and diamond drilling.

The airborne survey covered approximately 2100 sq km and traversed most of Titan’s initial land holdings as well as areas of newly staked land. A total of 61 claims (48,748 sq km) were acquired to cover areas with favourable geology; several radiometric anomalies were identified on the new claims.

Prospecting was carried out in numerous areas to further characterize several uraniferous boulder trains that were discovered during previous exploration programs. Prospecting tested areas with favorable geology and radiometric anomalies identified from the airborne survey. In addition, radon surveys were completed in selective areas to better define drill targets.

Twenty-three drill holes were completed during the summer drilling campaign for a total of 1600 metres. Core samples have been sent to Saskatchewan Research Council Laboratories for analyses and Titan expects to announce the results of this program in the next few weeks.

J. Allan McNutt, P. Geo., M.A.Sc., is Titan’s Qualified Person (as defined by National Instrument 43-101) for uranium projects and is responsible of the technical information contained in this release.
